A few days ago I posted a concept for a flash version of the BBS awards on the BBS, and just recently finished it. I sent a PM to Zerok asking if he would add me to his flash portal buddies so I could list him as an author, but I'm impatient, so if I don't here back from him in the next hour I'm going to submit it anyway, listing him as inspiration, or something.

I just created a flash tutorial on how to make "next frame" and "previous frame" buttons. It only took an hour or two, but I think it came out pretty good.

This, by the way, was not the flash submission I was trying to crank out. This was more of a side project.

It's now 12:21 am. I been working pretty hard to crank out a flash submission. The reason is mainly to up my batting average so I can start up a collab by the end of January.

Im also considering getting one of those Castle Crashers figures but I can't decide which one to get. Barbarian?

So I've been planning to return to NG for awhile, but I'm still in the middle of stuff, so not quite yet, but soon, I'll be back.

When I return, goodies will follow.

Well this is it. I'm leaving Newgrounds. Not forever, I'm just taking a temporary break. While I'll still come on newgrounds to watch movies and what not, I will not be an active member for the next few months. There are quite a few reasons.

The first is RL. You know, that thing with the live human interactions. Anyway, I just started at a new school, so I'm really trying to get involved there. Part of this is that I've started a flash club, and I really ned to take the time to do stuff with that.

The second is depression. I know it sounds odd, but sometimes NG gets me thinking about the future, and when I think about the future, I get depressed. I hope that's respectable.

The third reason is flash. I find that I'm spending most of my time on NG, when I really need to do some stuff with flash.

Well I just finished watching all the madness day submissions on the frontpage and I have to say, I'm very impressed. This may well be one of the best Madness Days ever. Although it sounds crazy, I already started concepts for my Madness Day 09 submission. The reason is I know I can do a lot better than the submission I did this year. I decided to take madness characters and apply them to a new style. Heres a concept drawing so you can see what I mean.

Also, I finally got around to making a real banner. If you didn't know, I was using that generic reflection banner from before. The new one is kind of simple, but I like it.

So I'm officially starting my madness day submission tonight. It's probably gonna be a song wishing everyone a happy madness day..... or something. In other news, I got a bronze whistle, so thats fun.
