I decided not to submit the Viking thing. I learned a lot working on it, but the final product kind of sucked, and I wasn't particularly proud of it. Anyway, thats that. I'll post a little more later.

Well, here's the lay-down of things: Right now, I'm doing touch up work on the little viking cartoon, which will be up here after next friday. It's premiering at my schools end-of-mod art show, because it started off as a school project (for a flash independent study). While I can't say I'm exactly pleased with the outcome of the project, I am very glad I did it. While working on it I learned a ton about flash.

This leads me to my next point. At the same time I release the Viking thingy, I'll be releasing a cinematic preview of my next project, which is currently secret. Also, what do you guys think of the new banner I put up? I thought of it after seeing that I live near a town called Wonderland, and that the train actually makes a stop there. I know I said "Im taking the bus," instead of "Im taking the train," but whatever.

Also, have you ever played Power Stone 2? You should, because it's amazing. I'm part of the video game club at my school, which is essentially an excuse to play SSBB during lunch on fridays. Anyway, today my friend (and the club head) Jon brought in his Dreamcast and Power Stone 2. All I can say is, why have we been playing Brawl when this game exists. Its pretty much brawl but in a 3D stage environment. It's more or less laugh your ass off fun. Heres a video:

Well, I'm nearing the end of my Viking cartoon, which has taken me all of five weeks thus far. Once you see it, you'll be tempted to ask, "How in gods name did that take you five weeks?". My reply shall be "I only worked on it for like, an hour and half a day," so, yeah.

I've already started my next project, which will be my pico day submission. I think that's all I'll say on the subject for now.

I'd like to congratulate all of the nominees for the tank awards. I think we have a ton of great submissions in both categories, and picking a winner probably wont be easy.

For best movie, I would probably vote for Art in the Playground by TommyLM. This was one of my favorite submissions of the year, and I always felt like it never got enough recognition. This isn't to say I don't like the fan favorites such as MGA2, or There She Is!!, but both recieve so tons of attention, where as I feel Art in the Playground was somewhat swept under the rug until now.

My second choice for best movie is a tie between These Pancakes are Tiny and Walk in the Woods.

Preloader: I'm perfectly happy using a NG preloader, but if you want to give it a shot, then be my guest. Please understand that if it's no good I will use a NG preloader.

Menu: You really just need to be able to make a well designed menu for this thing. It would be nice if you knew how to make a scene select feature as well.

As for all the other desegnated parts, we'll talk more extensively about it when you contact me.

Well, my Flash Version of the NG BBS Awards won daily 5th! I'd just like to thank everyone who has voted on it and givin me such nice reviews!

Quite a few people have asked if I'll do this next year, and I don't know. I really don't plan that far ahead.

Also, i guess since I've won an award, I can now post to the front page, so yay for that!

I have another flash that I plan to release by the end of January. Here's a hint on what its about: Vikings.
