Well, where to begin? A lot has happened recently, some of it good some of it bad, but most of it good. School started last tuesday, and I began my life as a freshman. No, there's no "freshman hunt" at my high school. There is, however, more homework than I am used to. I'm taking a class entitled "Food and Culture", and its been about an hour and a half of homework a night. The teachers are great though, and their really flexible about extensions on homework. Im also doing tech work for the fall production, which requires me to work on it a total of 20 hours on saturdays, if I want the community service credit, which I do. It's not a bad thing though, because the theatre work has been pretty awesome so far. My commute is a little tiring as well. I walk to the subway, the take the train, the get on a bus to school.

On a better note, I almost have enough money for an xbox. The refurbished unit will cost $190, and the 2000 point card will cost $20. I've saved up about $160 so far. My parents are also going out tonight, so I'll be babysitting my little brother for about $10 an hour. Hopefully they'll be gone long enough to get me to the extra $50 I need. I also cant wait to play Castle Crashers. I was also thinking of getting Gears of War, but then Gears of War 2 is coming out soon, so I'm wondering if I need to have played Gears 1 to understand Gears 2. Are there any other xbox games I should get? I'm automatically putting a veto on Halo.

Also, the new store is great! As soon as I get my xbox and accumulate some more cash, Im definitely buying a poster and mindchamber patch. Im gonna put the patch over the apple logo on my macbook. I also might buy a Tankmen Figurine. The one thing I am a little pissed off about though, is that I bought a shirt right before the launch of the new store. Oh well.

UPDATE: Just hit $210 and officially hit enough for the xbox. Im gonna wait until I have 20 more dollars, as thats the amount I like to have in my wallet at all times. I've also started a new flash called "The Vanishing Act", so be on the look out for that. Its gonna be my best yet.

UPDATE 2: So here's the deal, I decided to buy a new xbox instead of a used one. The reason is the 3 year protected warranty you get with a new one, versus the 60 day return policy you get with a refurbished one. Provided, it will take an extra month to save up the cash, but I think it's worth it. I also have found a great thing to do with gummy bears. I bite the heads off and swap them. Just thought I'd share that. I also recently started the graphic novel Watchmen. It' really intense, and I find myself unable to put it down. Something you should read before you see the movie. I've changed my aura to "Fab", because I felt like trying it out My new flash, "Vanishing Act", should be finished by the end of the month.

UPDATE 5: So I'm about $70 away from my xbox. I think I can make the money by babysitting for my little brother. I'm also starting a flash animation club at school, I already have two other artists joined, along with an actionscript guy and a voice actress.

UPDATE 6: Booya! Bronze Whistle status!

Well, LT.com has to be put on hold. Right now, Im saving up for a xbox 360, so I dont want to spend any money on hosting my web site until I get the xbox. I am however, getting a really good deal on it though. I know a place that sells them refurbished with 20GB hard drives for $180, and then Im gonna buy 1600 points for $20.

And, once I have the xbox, I will be playing castle crashers! I've heard really good things about it. IGN gave it a 9. Anyway, someone thought that the castle crashers looked like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I've been working like crazy to get LaughingTomato.com off the ground. And don't think you can beat me to it and buy the domain name www.laughingtomato.com, I already did. As you can see, I went with the unoriginal "reflection" banner. I will change it soon though.

Im very pleasantly surprised that my first animation got through. Im even more amazed that people liked it. Anyway, I'm still waiting on my first audio submission to go through as well. Hopefully that will happen as well. Im not really sure what to do for my next animation, I don't really have a lot of Ideas right now. I may start working on something for clock day 08. You guys like the NG themed menu i made for my flash movie?
